Here we are about to realize our long-awaited dream of living full-time on the road in our home on wheels. It seems funny to me now as I remember back to the time in our life when this all started. We were camping in a pop-up tent camper with five children.
In the Beginning, the Pop-Up Camper
For the new camper, a pop-up is the way to go, however, they can be hot and cramped. Three children can sleep easily on one bed, two adults on the other. The sofa and dinette table will accommodate guests as both of these pieces of furniture unfold into beds.
The thought of living for a week or more in a glorified tent on wheels with several occupants and no bathroom seems ludicrous to those used to vacationing in the lap of luxury so to speak, but it suits others very well. When making plans for their one-time, long awaited trip to a special place, the campground dweller is also planning to make memories never to be forgotten, time after time after time.
