Gothic Hairstyles

While the Goth subculture has many subgenres of fashion, there are some key looks that can be seen at almost every Goth club or get-together.A few flowing traditions of all the sub-genres are the use of black, do-it-yourself additions, and the attitude of artistry, romance, whimsy and originality.

The following is a list of Goth sub-genres that are common, however, this is not a complete list as the number of styles are almost as numerous as the members of the subculture itself.

Candy Goth

Candy Goth, Perky Goth and Bubble Goth all fall into a category of Goth that involves a large amount of bright colors. While neon and pastels don’t scream gothic fashion, this style includes the alternative hair falls, fishnets, corsets, and accessories of many Goth genres. Colors used in Candy Goth include bright pinks of Perky Goth, neon greens and blues of Cyber Goth, the girly pastels of Lolita and the expected black as a contrast.
