Hair Styles In The Lord of the Rings
Peter Jackson's epic trilogy contains few females, but those that appear wear a dazzling display of long hair styles. Arwen's herringbone braids, Galadriel's loose waves worn with a circlet and Eowyn's windswept locks are memorably Middle-Earthy (and conveniently, provide Halloween costume fodder for blondes, brunettes and sort-of-redheads).
Hair Styles in the Star Wars Films
Her Worshipfulness is most famous for the double cinnamon bun hairdo of the first film, but Leia's hair styles in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi are far more flattering. Her principal hair style in the later films is a crown braid, but she also wears a complicated looped hairdo at the end of TESB and a lace-braided loose style in the Ewok village.
