Coco Chanel once said that “as long as you know men are like children, you know everything!” And while I agree with her statement in general, I have lately begun to think about the concept a bit differently. What if men aren’t actually children, but are in reality shoes? Shoes that we wear to accessorize our outfits and make ourselves stand out from the crowd?
The Myth about The Perfect Shoe
So far, I have never come across the mythological perfect shoe. No matter what shoe it is or what the label is, it never seems to completely satisfy. That special factor that makes everything “click” always seems to be missing.
Stilettos and Danger
There are of course the chic stiletto pumps that make you look thin, confident and fabulous, but by the end of the night they leave you with blisters and a headache. Looking at relationships, these shoes could easily represent your stereotypical bad boys; the ones you know shouldn’t buy into and you’ll never want anything long-term from, but just can’t help getting attached to because of their style. These are the guys that have "the look" in their eyes; that look that makes you wonder but you can never quite figure out what they are thinking.
